SENIOR KAPPA AFFAIRS
The Senior Kappa Affairs Committee of the Bishopville–Manning–Shaw AFB (SC) Alumni Chapter is dedicated to honoring, supporting, and celebrating the wisdom, service, and legacy of our senior brothers.
Our senior brothers represent the foundation upon which our chapter stands. Through decades of commitment to Kappa Alpha Psi and the communities we serve, they continue to exemplify leadership, mentorship, and the true spirit of Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.
Senior Kappa Affairs focuses on ensuring that our seasoned brothers remain engaged, recognized, and supported through meaningful fellowship, outreach, and programs that celebrate their lifelong contributions. From honoring milestones and accomplishments to providing opportunities for continued connection and service, we are committed to uplifting those who have paved the way for future generations.
Through this initiative, we reaffirm our respect for experience, our appreciation for legacy, and our responsibility to ensure that every brother remains connected to the bond of Kappa Alpha Psi.

THANKSGIVING DRIVE
The Bishopville–Manning–Shaw AFB (SC) Alumni Chapter continues to exemplify service and brotherhood through the leadership and commitment of our Senior Kappas. This past Thanksgiving season, our Senior Kappa initiative proudly sponsored a large-scale outreach effort in partnership with the Brothers of the Bishopville–Manning–Shaw AFB Alumni Chapter, our Silhouettes, and the undergraduate brothers of the Lambda Epsilon Chapter.
Together, we successfully completed two major community service initiatives in one day, extending support to families across multiple counties. Early in the day, Polemarch Terence Jackson, Keeper of Exchequer Dr. Willie Thompson, Brother Stan Nelson, and Silhouette Michelle Nelson joined forces with Oak Grove Baptist Church and Harvest Hope Food Bank of South Carolina to distribute Thanksgiving turkeys to more than 500 families throughout Columbia, Sumter, and surrounding communities.
